Training

Berean Biblical Counseling Ministries has operated as a certified training center through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors since early 2025. Our goal is to glorify God by equipping believers to use the Scriptures to help people grow in wisdom, love, and obedience to God in the face of life’s challenges, growing into ever-greater conformity to Christ.

 One of the challenges that we all face is how to best minister to someone who is ensnared by sin or embroiled in suffering. Often, believers would like to help, but they aren’t sure that they have the resources to effectively help someone like that. To address that, we offer foundational ACBC training options to help you grow in your proficiency in using your Bible to minister to others. Whether you are a pastor seeking to better shepherd members of your congregation through challenging problems and circumstances, a small group leader wanting to be better equipped to come alongside other believers in your church, or simply a believer desiring to grow in your walk with the Lord and ability to minister to brothers or sisters in Christ, these courses will encourage, instruct, and equip you to help people struggling with serious life challenges to live life to the glory of God, regardless of their circumstances.

Before signing up for training, we recommend reading through the ACBC Beliefs and Statements. Berean Biblical Counseling Ministries will uphold these beliefs and statements, including the Statement on Female Pastors. ACBC will not certify anyone who attends a church with a female pastor, and we will uphold ACBC’s standards in class when teaching on this topic.
